Learn about our evidence-based services aimed at enhancing children's language fluency.

To improve the verbal fluency of the children we treat at Legacy, our therapists implement a variety of techniques that seek to build on the interaction style of the child with others; this may include reducing their verbal speech rate or integrating easy onsets into their speech as they communicate with another to prevent an interruption in the flow of speaking. Over the course of the treatment plan, therapists will work closely with caregivers to build a safe and supportive environment for kids.
