Speech Disorders

We focus on assisting kids facing speech disorders by providing them with the necessary support and attention to overcome challenges.
Our goal is to teach and show kids how to produce sounds properly in syllables, words, and sentences to increase their potential for effective communication. By way of practicing pronounciation techniques through games and recreational activities, our therapists aim to stimulate kids' articulatory organs to make a variety of sounds. While we base the foundation of our services on evidence-based practices, our therapists personalize therapies to each child and their unique needs.
Services are individualized depending on the origin, difficulty, and phonetic and phonological analysis performed during our initial assessment. The approach we prescribe depends on several factors, such as the child's age, the type of sound errors, the severity of the disorder, and the extent to which the condition affects speech intelligibility.
In a bilingual/multicultural population, our role is to determine whether the differences observed are due to a real communication disorder or represent variations associated with another language the child might speak.
